Our Vision
Today the Christian Church faces a great spiritual battle. Islam has engulfed hundreds of millions around the world and has become not only a spiritual force but economic, social and political as well. It is the Great Challenge of the present generation of Christians to engage this spiritual battle in the name of Jesus. We are entering the prophetic timetable described by Jesus as the warfare of “kingdom against kingdom.” Today we must act. We must pray, but we must do more, we must train and send missionaries to reach the Islamic people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Spirit.
Ethiopia is the key Christian nation in east African and presently the target of Islamic fundamentalists who have built mosques every 5 kilo-meters on the major highways in an effort to convert the nation to Islam. But the promise of Psalm 68:31 stands that Ethiopia shall quickly stretch out her hands unto God. Ethiopia can be a missionary sending nation that not only converts its own population, but can reach surrounding nations with the gospel as well. We have partnered with the Evangelical Church Fellowship of Southern Ethiopia (ECFSE)to build a training center to train missionaries to the Islamic world.
For the past 12 years Shiloh Bible College Ethiopia has conducted training and educational programs in cities across the nation. Now it is time to enlarge these programs to focus upon Missionary training specifically to reach the Islamic world for Jesus Christ. |
